This Cookie Policy explains how Capital Flow For Good (Pty) Ltd (“me-you-us”) uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies on the Platform. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies and browser storage?

Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device. We also use your browser’s local storage and session storage — similar technologies that let the Platform remember information on your device. We use these only for the limited purposes described below.

2. What we use

We use strictly necessary and functional items to run the Platform, and, only with your consent, analytics items to understand which campaigns and channels (email, social, partner links, QR codes) bring donors to us. We use Google Analytics (GA4) for this. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies, and we do not share this information with advertisers.

If you Reject analytics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, Google Analytics is not loaded and the muu_attribution cookie is never set. If you go on to make a donation, it will still be recorded — it will simply show up in our reporting as unattributed/direct rather than credited to a specific campaign.

3. Managing cookies and storage

A cookie banner is shown on your first visit so you can Accept or Reject analytics cookies. Your choice is remembered in the muu_consent cookie. To change your choice later, clear that cookie in your browser settings and reload the page — the banner will be shown again. You can also control all cookies and storage directly through your browser settings, including clearing or blocking them.

Blocking or clearing the strictly necessary items will sign you out and may prevent you from signing in or completing a sponsorship.
Clearing the functional items will reset preferences such as your display currency.
Rejecting or clearing the analytics items stops campaign attribution for future visits, as described in section 2.

4. Changes to this policy

If we change how we use cookies or browser storage — for example, if we introduce analytics — we will update this policy, change the “last updated” date above, and, where the law requires consent, ask for it before using non-essential technologies.
